Are Those High Paying Adsense Keywords For Real?

Once in a while I would go to Google and do a search on “high paying adsense keywords”.

I generally don’t believe in sites that claim certain keywords pay up to $30 or $50 per click, but just for the fun of it, I would occasionally go to Google and look for these types of keywords.

Just for fun you see :)

For example, since this is now July 2008, I would type in “high paying adsense keywords july 2008″ in Google and click “search”.

The latest result that I can find is a post written on this blog on March 9, 2008 (I’m just too lazy to be going through page 7 and above of Google’s search results).

According to this blog, the top 5 high paying Adsense keywords are:

========================

austin dwi $66.89
austin dwi attorney $58.30
san diego dui attorney $54.56
houston criminal attorney $47.44
san diego dui $42.83

========================

What do you think?

Do you believe that you can get paid up to $66/click for the keywords “Austin dwi” or $42 for the keywords “Austin dwi attorney”?

Like I have stated above, I generally don’t believe in these hyped-up numbers. But that’s just my opinion though:P

Why not use the Google Keywords Tool to see how accurate these numbers are?

And let’s not forget that the numbers given by the Google Keyword Tool are actually numbers that you would have to pay if you want to bid on those keywords on Google Adwords.

What this means is that the numbers for Adsense payouts will be smaller than those given by the Google Keyword Tool.

And to add to that, don’t forget that you also have to split your Adsense earnings with Google. This makes your earnings even smaller!

So my take on these “high paying Adsense keywords” is that don’t take their numbers too seriously. I really don’t believe anyone can get paid $66 for a single click!

However, in my opinion, the blog is partially correct in saying that the keywords listed are “high paying keywords”.

Well I’d certainly put $9/click in the high paying category. :mrgreen:

What about you?

The highest pay per click that Adsense has awarded me was $3 though, although it’s not about austin dwi or san diego dui or anything similar to that. :cool:
